I fully understand this because I wanted to do the same but she married before I could graduate from undergrad uni.
Hmmmmm... That means you didn't confront her on time... Am very sure she would like to waste for you.
She didn't even hint me that she was about to get married. Truth is that she and I never had a sexual relationship while we dated. I never saw or imagined her in that light. I often imagined her in this glass container shinning like a star! Maybe she thought that I was not matured enough because of it, just a guess. Women can be complex and tricky. A lady may like the fact that you don't make sexual advances as part of your dating, but that doesn't mean that some other guy won't make those advances, and she may open up to him, seeing him as more mature. At the base of every dating is this thing called sex, and the "innocent" (really naive) of the boys will always miss out. One movie I watched many years ago accurately illustrated this point. In the movie, a young guy was in love with this young girl, and always escorted her everywhere, and never made any sexual advances. Until one day another "bad guy" simply lured the girl somewhere and disvirgined her. I think the name of the movie is "The last American Virgin". So, na so I come miss out.She loved me, but she was NOT IN LOVE (think sex) with me. She married the person that had a clue.
Seems you just used my story when I was about finish ss3 and tagged it "the last American virgin" but I don't know if they have disvirgin her.. I knw she will see me as mumu then. Well am just playing church boi then..
The problem is NATURAL. Usually, the boy who is 15 - 18 is not mentally mature enough to figure out the mindset of the opposite sex. While a girl in similar age is already eyeing men in their 20s and 30s. That is just nature. And in a society as Nigeria's the problem grows in magnitude because the boys don't make money until well into their late 20s and early thirties. But in US and others, boy of 16 can get a job (with work permit) and make his own money, and have the opportunity to woo his childhood sweetheart. So, it is not just that you were a "church boy"; it is also that you had no money.
I was there. He had no money. And the girl is rich. Spot on, dayan!
