Three Simple Secret Steps And Practical Guides to Walking the Path of Light!

The most important key to understand before embarking on the steps suggested below, is to understand the most basic law of nature (of God). That law is called "The Law of Sowing and Reaping".

Whatever you do as outlined below, do so in humility, love (of God and creation), and deep introspection, because some of the results can only be experienced or noticed when you walk in the spirit, and not in the flesh.
For example, when you do favours to total strangers, don’t be surprised when total strangers also favour you.

(1) Forgive EVERYONE:

This principle is anchored on the teaching that when you forgive others, you will also be forgiven ( Matthew 6:14-16). This may sound too simple, but it is a POWERFUL principle. Holding grudges or scores creates a burden that hurts the bearer eventually more than the offending person.
But more importantly, it is a short-cut to obtaining own forgiveness.
The way I do it, is to make forgiveness INSTANT or AUTOMATIC. In other words I don’t allow the sun to go down on my anger because if you let it linger, it becomes harder to forgive. So, I forgive first before anything. No questions asked. Occassionally I make out time to mentally recall anyone who may have offended me, and forgive them even without their knowledge. I call it "spiritual house keeping".  :))

If you offend anyone, and you know so, please ask them for their forgiveness. If they don’t forgive you, just make sure you forgive others. Heaven will protect and defend you against those who would not forgive you.
Try it and see!

(2) Be Merciful Unto Others:

This is one of the most powerful spiritual principles which is also underrated.
Jesus went an extra mile to emphasis this teaching by placing it squarely in the middle of the Sermon On the Mount: Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy (Matthew 5:7). Jesus also quoted Hosea 6:6 - “For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.” to once again emphasize this point.
Go against your nature: HAVE MERCY ON THAT PERSON, and watch how your life and relationships with people will change miraculously. Somehow, your worst situations will miraculously resolve even without your input. FACT!
It happens because HEAVEN is showering you with the mercy you’ve shown others.

(3) Give Generously/Invest in Others:

This is EQUALLY (together with the first two above) important.
Understand that giving is SOWING IN MATERIAL TERMS, which means that if you really want to be WEALTHY (not just rich), you MUST give to others.
One of my aunts used to be a leader in the education sector and, for years, she helped to sponsor, train and guide other people’s children, enabling them to succeed.
She gave money, physical assistance, counseling, etc. Fast forward to when she retired from civil service, somehow ALL her children are GREATLY successful. Even a son she had ruled out and not placed much hope on, turned out to be the greatest of her sons! I personally noticed that NONE of her children did anything special, or were in any way specially gifted intellectually. But they all turned out being the BEST in a whole clan! ALL OF THEM. It is also noteworthy that the sources of her children's success were NOT from the people she helped to raise or train. Yet, somehow, her children emerged the greatest in the clan.

The most important proviso to all of the above is to be always vigilant and practice a lot of prevention.
The world is full of evil and wicked people, so be very careful and take steps to protect yourself.

Practice prevention because it makes it easier for you to: Forgive others, show mercy to others, and to sow positive seeds in people’s situations and lives. Develop your spiritual intuition (the spirit of discernment): be able to read people very well, to enable you keep evil people far away from you. Even Jesus had enemies, so you will have enemies no matter how good you are. You are, indeed, like a sheep among wolves, therefore, Be wise as serpent and innocent as dove (Matthew 10:16).

If you do a thorough due diligence on people around you, you may find that you need to distance from quite a few. Do so, because your journey in the path of light is more important than keeping a bevy of friends that keep you in the path of darkness.

You may even need to change your physical environment/location to succeed in your journey.

It can be a difficult path to walk sometimes, but if you master or get used to it, your life will transform in ways that will positively shock you!
