All psychopaths are narcissists, but not all narcissists are psychopaths.

Sociopaths are made, but psychopaths are born.

Sociopathy is learned, while psychopathy is inherent (or born that way).

When narcissists does bad thing, they feel a fair amount of guilt or shame -more shame than guilt because they are concerned about how other people view them.
Psychopaths lack guilt or shame. They don't feel remorse when they do something bad, example: serial killers, hired assassins, people who gut coporations (like Nigerian leaders who steal the entire future of millions of people), etc.

A sociopath become one by reason of conditioning or upbringing, or just environment, like growing up in a very dangerous and bad neighborhood.

Sociopaths can be "salvaged" through therapy, but psychopaths can only pretend to learn the "norms" or acceptable behavior, but would revert back to anti-social behaviors fairly quickly.

My verdict: Most leaders of big enterprises are at least narcissists while leaders of some big countries are outright psychopaths.
