We’re part of the north and we ain’t going anywhere else – NCPF

Rose Ejembi, Makurdi

The North Central Peoples Forum (NCPF) has insisted that the North-Central region of the country belong to the northern region and cannot part ways with the North.

NCPF National Publicity Secretary Alhaji Sule Audu, who stated this in a chat with newsmen in Makurdi on Tuesday, said the NCPF believe in the unity and coexistence of the country and would continue to work to ensure that Nigeria remains united.

“NCPF is categorically saying that we cannot go our separate ways from the northern region. We belong to the northern region and we believe in the unity and coexistence of this country. We know the sacrifice our founding fathers made to keep this country together and we must use that as a yardstick to develop this country.

“As far as we are concerned, the North Central states; that is Benue, Nasawara, Plateau, Kwara, Kogi and the FCT remain with the north.”

Audu who was reacting to a statement credited to the Middle Belt Forum on the subject matter posited that the North-Central remains with the north and will not go anywhere else.

“How can Middle Belt Forum say it is going on its separate way? The NCPF is completely against the statement made by the Middle Belt Forum that they are going their separate ways. We believe in one Nigeria. We are part of the north and we are not going anywhere.

“The main target of NCPF is the reactivation of infrastructure in the North Central zone and that is what we are discussing with the federal government and drawing attention to it and not talking about separation because separation will only further bring disunity.

“That’s why we are asking for a North-Central development commission and we are going to support our governors and other leaders in that regard,” Audu stated.

Audu said the NCPF will continue to engage the Middle Belt Forum with a view to finding a common ground and lasting solution to the many problems confronting the region rather than discuss separation which he noted, does no one any good.

This statement is laden with information that should educate and orient certain groups in Nigeria.
Like it or hate it the man spoke the truth!

The fact remains that Nigeria was founded by THREE (not six) regions, and all current "geopolitical zones" are de facto members of the old FOUNDING regions which were balkanized by Gowon in 1967.

This is why the most foolish sets of people today in NIgeria are the so called "leaders" in Eastern Nigeria.

Current set of leaders in that unfortunate region are the very WORST of the WORST in the history of Nigeria.

With the exception of very few influential Easterners like Dokubo Asari (who seems to be the only Easterner that FULLY understand the reality), others are HOPELESSLY SELFISH.

Once they calculate "Oh, I'm a governor. I'm a senator. I'm an honourable member" etc, they simply shamelessly talk of "south east" and "south south". They can NEVER get their heads out of PERSONAL GAINS.

It never occurs to them that nobody in Northern Nigeria actually takes them seriously -i.e. believe them as "south east and south south"  -they see them as EAST that must be conquered!
If anything, they laugh at them while scheming to sack them from their lands in the long run, because they are fools and clueless.

Here, the North central people understand that, for their strength and continued survival it is IMPOSSIBLE to divide the North, because you have the Fulani and Hausa in almost every state in that region either as settlers or whatever, they are there, you cannot wish them away!

But in the East, you find clueless clowns masquerading as leaders basically dissecting and dividing the region, by their own hands, for easier conquest.

The North understand that with unity, they can impose their "One Nigeria" schemes on others in Nigeria, and succeed in ruling others against their will, because the "others" are dividing themselves for them.

The ULTIMATE TRUTH ABOUT NIGERIA IS THIS MAP ATTACHED.

It would remain irrepressible. The sooner the Easterners understand this truth the better for them.
They can accept it and push for it, or be divided and conquered, and even "Fulanized".
