The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Kano, Abba Yusuf, is ahead of the incumbent governor Dr Abdullahi Ganduje of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC after 43 of the 44 Local Government Areas’ results have been collated.

However the result so far indicates that the PDP scored 951,531 votes, while the APC has 935,451 votes.

With only one local government left, the PDP is comfortably leading with a margin of 16,080 votes.

The APC is leading in the the number of local governments while the PDP is leading in the figures. The PDP is in the winning because results margins at the APC winning points are slim while they are wide in the PDP winning points.

[3/11, 8:40 AM] abdulmuming: Meanwhile, INEC has adjourned collation of Kano governorship and state assembly election results for a short while over the alleged attack on collation centre of Nasarawa local government area in the early hours of Monday at about 1.30am.

Kano governorship election Presiding Officer Prof. B.B. Shehu together with the Resident Electoral Commissioner Prof. Riskuwa Shehu announced the decision after it was reported that the state Deputy Governor, Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, Commissioner for Local Government, Sule Garo and Chairman of Nasarawa Local Government, Lamin Sani, allegedly attacked the venue of the results collation with suspected thugs and attempted to destroy the results.

Meanwhile this is the same Kano where INEC allocated almost 1 million votes to APC ahead of PDP in the presidential polls.
The same voters being influenced by the same local politicians like Kwankwaso.

Some devious people have said that the local people don't like Atiku, but that is not what we saw during the presidential rally of the PDP in Kano. The entire city came to a full stop for Atiku.
The same STATE now managed to give him just 300 thousand something votes only?

It can reasonably be argued that the hub of the 23 February theft is actually in Kano.
