…urges FG to ban flight over Benue, Taraba, Borno

By Ibrahim HassanWuyo

The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, has appealed to the Federal Government to extend its “no fly zone” order on other states with security challenges like Zamfara.

ACF congratulated the people and government of Zamfara state on the safe release of the kidnapped school girls from Jangebe Government Girls Secondary School in the state.

Chief Audu Ogbe, ACF Chairman, in a statement on Wednesday, expressed the Forum’s happiness with the federal government’s decision to ban flights in Zamfara state.

ACF however, pleaded with the government to extend the ban to other states like Benue, Taraba and Borno, saying there were rumors that helicopters frequently dropped arms for bandits and insurgents operating in these states.

“We believe that such an extended ban will curtail the operations of the criminals in these areas,” ACF said.

Here on Nigerialog.com we do not dwell in fake news or news without source.
We ALWAYS include source and link.
Then we essentially blog or state our OPINIONS on it. We do not create news. We discuss it.

So, here we have a news from a credible news source quoting a NORTHERN source, that "bandits" (AKA terrorists) actually get arms supplies from Nigeria's military.

Who else operates helicopters and who else possess arms in Nigeria other than the military?

Why would Nigeria's president impose a no-fly zone inside a country in which he is supposed to be the "commander-in-chief"?

Is he saying that the military is not under his control?

If you believe that the president has no control over the military it means that (1) Nigeria's president is not Buhari , (2) Buhari is NOT in charge of the military.

The only real logical reason behind all these is that the real Buhari is NOT in charge.
Whether he is still alive or not is a moot point.
