Miffed with the killings and kidnappings in the north-east zone, honorable Adamu Chika, a lawmaker representing Shiroro/Rafi/Munya, Niger state, condemned the act, noting that he can’t travel to his village and sleep for the fear of Boko Haram, bandits, kidnappers and armed robbers in the area.

Disclosing this on Thursday, during the plenary, Chika asked that a lasting solution be adopted to address the security challenges

His words, “Mr Speaker, where are we going? I cannot go to my village, spend a night and sleep as I’m speaking to you.

“For the last year, I cannot go to my village and sleep, I feel very insecure. And this is where I find myself, it is terrible, we have to do something about it.”

I have this strange (but most likely correct) theory about hell.

The theory states that hell has no cages, or walls or gates. It is an open space where torment happens every minute, and yet the occupants cannot escape.

You know why the occupants cannot escape, or even try to put out the fires?

Because the occupants themselves fight ANYONE that wants to escape, or anyone that tries to put out the fires.

It is an ingenious place designed by Satan himself.

Nigeria is hell blueprint, because the same theory holds true in Nigeria.

In Nigeria, the same people dying the most from senseless crimes and all manner of insecurity would fight with their last breath to stop things like state police or even local police under the command of local governments.

They also fight anyone who wants to separate and form a functional country.

Nigeria is dysfunctional at 200 million. Common sense says that countries of 1 to 10 million each would be easier to run. Take a census of African countries, the most dysfunctional are the biggest ones.

Honestly, if you take a spiritual look at Nigeria, you would marvel at the parallel with the hell theory mentioned above.

The parallel is remarkable!

It is painful how Nigeria has turned out, the Northern people harboured the bad egg which later hatched into two furious Nigeria terrorizers (fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram). Their is a proverb in Yoruba land which "he who steal palmoil from the ceiling is not thieve, but who helps him/her to harbour the stolen goods is the thieve". The porous nature of the Northern border and the tribalistic behavior of some of their leaders caused the insecurity in that region.
