Have you ever tasted Yoruba stew? Is it true it is always spicy?
hahahaa, pepper 🌶 don't kill me ooooo. When my auntie that lives in Lagos, cooks I cannot eat her food even her kid then, we have to wash of the pepper for yam porridge.
That bad? Is it just the Yorubas?
Not just them, but their own come pass.
I stayed with a guy from Warri during my service year and he used to complain that my food ain't spicy enough... He loved pepper, I don't... He kinda grew into my type of food but he cooked it for his mom, she got angry.... May be many Yoruba like pepper but it may just be an individuality thing... Just like salt, seasoning and all... It differs everywhere.
Yaa, that might be true, but in this kind of things is always generalized.
My adage says that when one finger touches a red oil, all fingers are affected.
Urh, that's not entirely true... There are plenty of ways that the other fingers will not be affected.
okay, you name the ways.
Well, I will just lick the oil off the finger... I guess that affects my mouth not the other fingers.
hahahaha hehehehehe!, it is even better to affect your fingers instead of your mouth 👄, that one go hard pass ooo
Palm oil isn't poisonous now. To keep my fingers clean, I'd just lick the oil. How hard can that be?
hahaha! You are so funny. This is an idiomatic expression. Is not explained literally.
