Job Title: HR Operations Assistant
Location: Lagos
Reports Directly To: Head, Human Resources SUBJECT DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the day to day running of the Human Resources department. The HR Operations Assistant is also responsible for the general administration, up to date filling and documentation of the HR department either by hardcopy or electronically.

Key Roles and
Administrative running of the HR Department
Upholding all HR Policies and Process with guidance from other members of the HR team
Send weekly call memo to the Head, Human Resources with detailed activities for each week
Send monthly absenteeism and lateness report obtained via TAMS to the Rewards and Succession Executive for vetting.
Upon advise of the Head, Human Resources, send queries on lateness to defaulting employees in line with the attendance policy
Responsible for all internal HRD meetings – agenda, taking minutes of meeting, action plans and follow ups
With guidance from Rewards and Compensation Executive, HR Operations Assistant is responsible for processing the pension certificates in collaboration with the Abuja region
Liaise with Recruitment Executive to process all HMO registration and change of hospital request.
Responsible for the HRD’s transition to an electronic department prior to the deployment on an HRIS by scanning exit folders electronically
Follow up with Facility and Procurement departments for all HRD operational needs.
Daily check on HR emails and flag mails which require urgent attention promptly
Staff Welfare; daily inspection of the canteen and food vendors
Responsible for logistics of monthly prayer and fasting programs, fun friday and team bonding as delegated
Ensure full documentation, monitoring and tracking of all payment request via Navision, letters or correspondence sent or received in the HR department

Experience and QualificationsAn OND in Social Sciences or Art related courses or any other social/environmental science
A good knowledge of any HRIS or HR software is an added advantage.
