Jeans are a type of pants which are worn for comfortability. Jeans vary from trouser, shirt, shoes and bags which are worn by both male and female . You can find a perfect-fitting jeans from skinny jeans to stylish high-risers. Jeans can be worn in style as a corporate wear.
Tricks to keep your Jeans last longer

Jeans are a favorite wardrobe item for both men and women, and many people spend a lot of time trying to find the perfect pair. A good pair is a must-have for many. Designer jeans, in particular, can be expensive so it makes sense to keep them around for as long as possible. However, many factors the lifespan of a pair of jeans. Some may not be under your control (e.g., the quality of the denim), but you can do many things to prolong their life.

To keep your jeans looking new, it is important to take special care when washing and drying. Try to avoid washing when it is unnecessary. Make sure you read the tag and understand the laundering instructions. And air dry your jeans, since heat weakens the denim fibers. The advice below details six tricks to keep your jeans lasting longer. Jeans must be treated differently from other clothing, and extra attention can help extend their life and keep them looking new longer.

Limit Washing
To prevent fading and wear, knowing how to properly wash jeans is important. Avoid washing them for as long as possible. When they begin to stretch at the waist or knees, it is time for a wash. When washing jeans, the water should be kept cold and agitation kept to a minimum. This prevents stress on the cotton fibers. For best results, give the jeans a long soak and then allow them to lie flat.

Here are some general tips to use when washing: never scrub the fabric; never use bleach or bleach alternative; do not wash jeans with other clothing items to avoid possible color transfer; turn them inside-out to preserve the color; allow them to drip dry or dry flat; select a gentle or delicate washer cycle.

These rules are especially important if thejeans have embroidery or other embellishments. Washing can severely damage these or tear them from the fabric.

 Setting the Colour

Everyone loves a pair of really dark jeans, but the first time they are washed, the color fades markedly. To prevent this, you can use vinegar to set the dye and keep the dark color in the fabric longer. Before washing a new pair of jeans for the first time, create a solution of 50 percent water and 50 percent white vinegar, and soak the jeans for 30 minutes. Then wash as usual. When washing dark denim, add a tablespoon of vinegar per cup of water to keep the color safe, then air dry. No need to worry about the jeans smelling like vinegar as the smell fades during drying.

Hand Washing Technique

Hand washing is the preferred method to keep jeans looking new. This avoids all of the stress and damage that machine washing can cause. Hand washing is the most delicate way to wash them, and can be done very easily. Here are the steps to hand wash your jeans:

Fill a bathtub, bucket, or sink with cold water.
Add a small amount of gentle detergent.
Turn the jeans inside out.
Soak the jeans for 45 to 60 minutes.
Occasionally agitate the jeans by hand. Do not rub!
Remove the jeans from the water and hang dry. Keep away from direct sunlight.

Spot Cleaning

For spot cleaning, use a damp cloth with a cleaning agent, such as Spray n’ Wash or Windex, to blot out the spot. Do not rub or use an abrasive cleaner.

After cleaning the stain, hang the jeans to dry. To get out wrinkles or restore the shape of the fabric, hang the jeans in the bathroom while taking a shower. The steam will freshen and restore the material while steaming out wrinkles.

Check the Tag
If you must machine wash the jeans, then it is important to check the tag to determine the type of denim and the washing instructions. Here are some tips for the best way to care for jeans based on the tag:

Pre-washed/Pre-distressed: the jeans have already been worn and washed by the manufacturer, but they can still shrink or fade if washed improperly. Keep the water cold and use low or no heat to dry them; this should result in no additional shrinkage.
Raw, dry, or single-wash: These jeans have not yet been washed, and the dye is not set. Follow the steps outlined above to set the dye and prevent bleeding or fading.
Sanforized: This means the jeans have been treated to prevent shrinkage. Most jeans have this treatment done; it is a very common process. Some shrinkage can still occur, so take care when washing.
Unsanforized/Shrink-to-fit: This means that the jeans have not gone through a pre-shrink process, and they are several inches larger than the tagged size. These jeans are designed to be soaked in warm or hot water to allow for shrinkage. Once they have shrunk down to the desired size, they should be hung up to air dry. Additional heat causes more shrinkage.

Prevent Tearing
In order to keep your jeans looking new for as long as possible, protect them from physical damage, if possible. Try to avoid rips, tears, punctures and other things that can hurt the cotton fibers. Once jeans have begun to fray there is nothing that can stop it. A lot of damage also happens around the pockets, where cell phones and wallets make a constant imprint on thejeans. This puts stress on the fabric and over time causes holes. To prevent thinning and tearing, do not put bulky items into the pockets on a regular basis.

Avoid Heat
One of the worst things that can happen to denim is getting too hot, so the dryer is the worst place to put jeans. After washing, allow the jeans to lay flat, or air dry over a clothing rack. If hanging, hang the jeans by the belt loops to help them keep their shape. Air drying jeans can take up to two days, so plan ahead. To help speed the process, roll them tightly in a towel to soak up excess water, after a hand washing. If the jeans have begun to stretch and they need tightening up, jeans can be put in the dryer on a low setting for half a cycle. Allow them to air dry the rest of the way. Avoid using fabric softeners, as this can over-soften the denim and cause it to wear out faster. Avoiding heat is the best way to keep your jeans looking newer longer, since it prevents the fabric from breaking down or shrinking.

Dry Clean
Dry cleaning is simply the best solution to prevent wear and tear on jeans. The dry cleaning process removes dirt, stains, and oils, and does not cause any of the harsh effects that come with washing. However, this is also the most expensive option, so it is not open to everyone.

Iron Damp
To keep the jeans looking crisp and fresh, iron them while they are still a little damp. This preserves the original crease of the jeans, if done properly. It also helps the cotton keep its shape over time and prevents it from stretching out.
