How To Remove Chocolate Stain On Household Items

When learning how to remove chocolate stains from clothes, it is equally important to identify the fabric of the clothing, and reading the washing instructions. So if you have chocolate stains on delicate clothes or those marked dry clean, you might want to be extra careful when indulging in chocolate. Washable fabrics include cotton, acrylic fabric, nylon, linen, spandex, olefin, polyester and modacrylic.

Steps to Remove Chocolate from Clothes:

If you have a large chocolate stain on clothes, use a dull knife, spoon or similar object carefully to scrape off the excess chocolate first.
Next step is to soak the piece of clothing in cold water with some laundry detergent.
Let it soak well for approximately 15 minutes.
Then remove from water and rinse the stain gently with your hands by rubbing the stain together.
The stain should go away easily but it stays, repeat the process.

Steps to Remove Chocolate from Upholstery:
First step is to scrape off the excess chocolate
Bring together two spoons of detergent and cold water.
Take a clean cloth or sponge to blot the stain with the detergent solution.
Continue blotting until the stain eventually wears off.

,b) Alternative Method to Remove Chocolate from Upholstery
Use a dry cleaning solvent and sponge the stain using a clean rag.
Blot until the solvent is dissolved.

Steps to Remove Chocolate Stains from Carpet:
First step is to scrape off the excess chocolate
Bring together one tablespoon of detergent some warm water
Use the detergent solution and a clean cloth to sponge the stain.
Start blotting until the stain is absorbed and disappears
If you have stubborn chocolate stains on carpet or chocolate stains that have been around for a while, bring together a tablespoon of ammonia and two cups of lukewarm water. It is important to note that mixing chlorine bleach and ammonia could result in hazardous fumes.
Next, sponge the stain with the ammonia solution, and blot until the chocolate stain is absorbed.
Finally, use cold water to sponge and blot dry.
If you have really aggressive chocolate stains, you might need to use borax along with hot water to get rid of them.

I beg to differ on that, though I don't like chocolate I like sweets a lot I know a few people who really  like chocolate and they are not children.
